We are proud to announce the second beta release of the libaws project (version 0.9.2) Libaws is an easy-to-use code library that helps you programming C++-Software that communicates with Amazon Web Services. More in detail, it supports communication with the following amazon services:

• Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3)
• Amazon SimpleDB
• Amazon Simple Queue Service (Amazon SQS)

The second beta includes the following changes:

• Introduced property files to pass bucket-name, aws-access-key, aws-secret-access-key to the s3fs executable
• Added a function for queryWithAttributes to the SDBConnection
• Fixed some minor bugs and typos

As an extra feature, libaws comes with S3FS, a Filesystem to mount an S3-Bucket to a folder on your linux system. S3FS is based on Fuse, and therefore only running in userspace (no higher privileges required to run it).
